Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
Your panda moving company(pandaboxes.ca) provides weekly rental of reusable plastic moving boxes and related moving supplies. This policy explains our cancellation, refund, return, and damage terms.
By placing an order on pandaboxes.ca, you agree to this policy.
2. Order Cancellations
a) Cancellation Before Delivery

Orders cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date will receive a full refund.

Orders cancelled within 24 hours of delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50%.

Same-day cancellations are non-refundable.
b) Rescheduling
Customers may reschedule delivery or pickup once at no charge if at least 48 hours’ notice is provided. Additional changes may be subject to a service fee.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds apply only under the following conditions:

Order cancelled within the eligible timeframe (Section 2)

Company unable to fulfill delivery
-
Equipment delivered in unusable condition (must be reported within 4 hours of delivery)
Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
We do not provide partial refunds for early return of boxes once delivery has been completed.
4. Returns (Rental Equipment)
Your panda moving company(pandaboxes.ca) rents reusable plastic moving boxes and related equipment. This is not a sale of goods unless otherwise stated.
a) Rental Period
The standard rental period is 7 days, starting from the delivery date.
If you require additional time, please contact us before the scheduled pickup date. Extension fees may apply.
b) Equipment Condition
All boxes and accessories must be returned in:

Clean condition

Free of excessive debris
-
Without structural damage
Normal wear and tear is expected. Excessive damage, missing items, or permanent marking (paint, adhesives, etc.) may result in repair or replacement charges.
5. Damage, Loss & Replacement Charges
Customers are responsible for rented equipment from the time of delivery until pickup.
Charges may apply for:

Lost boxes
-
Cracked or broken containers
-
Missing lids or accessories
-
Water or mold damage
-
Unauthorized disposal
Replacement costs per item:
-
Standard moving box: $20
-
Dolly: $120
-
Other accessories: $10 to $100*depends on the item
Charges will be billed to the payment method on file.
6. Non-Return of Equipment
Failure to make equipment available for pickup on the scheduled date may result in:

Extended rental fees
-
Additional pickup fees
-
Replacement charges if not recoverable
7. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service or delivery if:

The location is deemed unsafe

Weather conditions pose safety risks
-
Payment cannot be processed
-
Access is restricted
Delivery Policy
1. Delivery Areas
Panda Boxes currently delivers within:

Victoria, BC
-
Greater Victoria Area
-
Sidney, BC
-
Langford, BC
-
Sooke, BC
-
Nanaimo, BC
Delivery outside standard zones may be subject to additional fees.
2. Delivery Scheduling
Customers select their preferred delivery and pickup dates at checkout.
Delivery windows are typically:

From 8am to 8pm weekdays and weekends
Exact times are not guaranteed unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
3. Customer Responsibilities at Delivery
The customer must:

Ensure clear and safe access to the delivery location

Provide correct address details
-
Ensure someone is present if required (or specify safe drop-off instructions)
If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues or incorrect address details, a re-delivery fee may apply.
4. Contactless Delivery
If requested, we may leave equipment in a designated area at the delivery address. Once delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer.
5. Pickup Policy
Pickup occurs on the scheduled end date of the rental period unless extended.
Customers must:

Have all boxes empty

Close lids securely
-
Place boxes in agreed pickup location
Missed pickups due to customer unavailability may result in additional service fees.
6. Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
We are not liable for delays caused by:

Severe weather
-
Road closures
-
Mechanical issues
-
Events outside our reasonable control
We will communicate promptly and reschedule as needed.
